My 9 month old baby who sleeps about 15 hours a day has dark eye circles. I am pretty confident that this is not caused by his lack of sleep. Any moms have the same experience?
Do you think he could be dehydrated? I remember D often had dark circles too as a baby, and someone suggested I give him more water during the day. I did notice a difference. It could also be allergies.
I gave him water very often. He can pretty much drink as much as he wants. As for allergy, I have been using the 4 day principle when introducing new food, and I don't see any major allergic reaction. What can he be possible allergic to?
my daughter had the same dark undereye circle. i brought her to her homeopath, and i remember it was an allergy thing. but not to food. i just cannot remember what it was....
My friend's daughter also has dark circles under her eyes. My friend is a Chinese doctor, and says its due to poor digestion because her daughter is a very slow eater and her food is often cold halfway into her meal.
I went to see my paediatrician the other day and he said that if it comes and goes (which is what happens to my baby) may cause my blood flow circulation.
My daughter had the same thing, and my GP in Austalia just said it was her blood vessels bing very close to the surface under her eyes and would diminish as she got older. People used to ask me if she had a black eye/black eyes. She is 15 months now and it has improved markedly.
