Baby hammocks

Anyone had any experience with the Amby Nest or Baby Miyo hammocks ?

Thinking of using for our newborn due in 2013 and had a friend in the Uk who used on of the Miyo and loved it

Thoughts ?
 
Thanks for the input... I read about that already and its not as scary as it sounds... seems the two deaths were attributed to incorrect instalation of the product

Anyone had first hand experience of one ? I have read the testimonials and they seem rather impressive on sleep help.
 
I use one but from Baby Love.

Didn't use it for my 1st child as it came too late and she was used to co-sleeping by then.
Just had my 2nd child and "had" to use it as my oldest is just too noisy for me to use the cot and too dangerous for the baby to sleep on my bed. I LOVE the hammock! It is brilliant! I find that she sleeps better in the hammock than on the bed. The cot is pretty much redundant now. At night, she co-sleep with me with no problems.

Initially I had a manual spring but I found she wanted to be swing all the time and replaced it with an electric one last month. LOVE it even more! It frees up my time to spend it with my older child.

There is also a different sarong for winter.
 
I only use the hammock in the day (its in the living room as we have space issue). At night, after I have sort out my oldest, I transfer my LO to my bed (we co-sleep).
