Baby Hair Trimmer

Hi All,

My bb is just over months old now, and his hair is getting sooo long! This means he sweats a lot, and although it doesn't look bad or too messy, we were thinking of shaving short his hair (not bold).

Can anyone recommend a baby hair trimmer? Where can we buy one?

Thanks!

We brought the Philips one which has the hair length settings from 0 to 12mm settings at the bottom - it's a dial which you can turn instead of those that you push up and down which is very convenient. It cost HKD298 from Broadway electrics. We brought for HKD268 - ask if they have any discounts too.

Hi dengoR, it's Philips QC5010 Hair Clipper. It's not specially for babies and kids but I used it on my toddler at 22mths then - his second haircut (he doesn't have much hair) as he didn't like it at the hairdressers hence I brought it. Very easy to use and an even cut all round.

Details as below:

Super Easy Hair Clippers
The Philips QC5010 hair clippers are also known as the Super Easy Hair Clipper. This name is quite descriptive because in many ways the Philips QC5010 is extremely easy to use. The length adjustment in particular is done very simply by using the locking adjustment wheel - this gives you a cutting range from less than 1mm (without comb) up to 21mm in eight setting stages.

What About The Clippers?
The Philips QC5010 clippers are mains powered. The blade is self sharpening and never needs oiling. The blade uses a system called SteelWave, The wave shaped blade channels the hair towards the cutting surface.

What About The Other Stuff?
Normally with hair clipper sets you get a few combs, some oil and a brush. With the Philips Philishave QC5010 clippers there is no need for combs or oil. What you do get is a cleaning brush and the power adapter.
