I've only ever seen the ones in your post overseas, unfortunately. If it helps, I was searching for the same thing and came across a spring loaded wooden one (Lindam) which I bought in Bumps to Babes Apleichau. It's similar to the white ones but just in a wood finish.
the biggest selection is at B2B at Aplei chau - they have some at Eugene but I don't believe I saw brown wooden one like the one you are looking for...
