Hi, can any mums suggest some spacious baby-friendly malls that isn't too crowded in the weekends? I have 1yr. old twins and 3.5yr. old son and would prefer it if it had something that can keep my son occupied i.e. Toys R Us, book shops, Jumpin Gym etc.

Have u try the New Century Plaza above the MK train station. 5/f hv a outdoor park next to the food court, and the hole floor are selling BB stuff.
Element It's good coz sooooo big n quiet!! my son luv to watch ppl skate.
Mega box in Kowloon bay, 9/f for kids with fun deco n playground.
All the above hv BB changing room.
Hope this help!

Try to go to THE WESTWOOD PLAZA in Kennedy Town and check out the newest Indoor Playground in Hong Kong called "PLAYTOWN." The address is Shop 121, Podium Level 1, The Westwood, 8 Belcher's Street. The playground has a separate area for 0-3 years old and 3-12 yrs. old. I assure you, your kids and even you will love it!

I think New Century Plaza has a lot of great BB stuff too, and the changing facilities are great. they have a seperate BB changing room and also in the main bathrooms, mini toilets and also stalls with little seats attached to the wall where you can place your baby while you have to go!

Festival walk has the worst bathrooms in my opinion. Even though its nice to watch people skating and the stores are good. Its just not worth it to me on the weekends anymore as the lines to the womens rooms are awful and the toilets filthy. Gross.

Thanks to all the mummies for replying!

I will give Element and The Westwood Plaza a try. I've already been to New Century Plaza numerous times and yes the outdoor playground there is great. Has anybody have any comments about the mall at Tai Koo Shing???

Prampushers...

May I suggest you go and get a copy of the Prampushers guide, it'll for sure give you ideas what to do on the weekends! Can be found in major bookstores for 110 hkd.

best,

City Plaza in Taikoo Shing doesn't have much things to offer compared to The Westwood and such. It's quite packed during the weekends too. Good for just a walk but nothing more. Weekdays are better days there perhaps to the Toys R Us and perhaps to Jusco which is across the street where they have good BB changing/feeding room.

Shatin train station... that big mall... dunno it's name but it has Snoopy World which is a fantastic place to drop your son off with the DH or with hubby while you shop in peace.

i agree with fshah on taikoo shing....also mostly nobody will speak in english there so if u r lost or need directions for something then ther is no way out...psl. share yr experiences after visiting element and westwood

Elements mall. There isnt so many people there, and its a really nice mall. You can also rent strollers for your kids.

Mushi, I visited Elements on Sunday and like it a lot. Not crowded, spacious, have one baby changing room on 1st & 2nd floor. Have a big bookshop w/ a spacious children's area to hang around w/ your kids for an hour until they get bored (my son didn't want to leave). My son liked watching the people skating at the ice-rink (not crowded at all). There's a roof garden w/ some cafes/rest'. A playground is also located nearby but didn't get to check it out.

The baby change room that I went to in Elements was amazing - it was enormous and must have had 4 baby changing stations each with its own sink and changing area!

Hi e-mum,
There's a playground near Elements? Can you tell me where it is? My daughter and I love going to elements, we're practically there everyday and I'm trying to find new things to do.

Thanks!

Hi, the playground is actually on the roof garden above the mall. I went there yesterday w/ my three kids and they loved it! One of the nices playgrounds I've come across so far. Enjoy.

Thanks e-mum
We're going to check it out today (Our building is doing something with the pipes so there's no water for the entire day!)
I'll probably go there in the afternoon. Maybe we'll see you there too.
=)

We live in Tai Koo and there is jumping gym but they only have the electronic games. There is the Ice Skating rink too. In Siu Sai Wan there is a place called Cheeky Monkey with a play frame and indoor activity centre. My kids like it there.
