Baby Food Processor

My baby is almost 6 months old. I've been exclusively breastfeeding so far and I'd like to start her on some solids in a few weeks. Can anyone recommend a good food processor and where to buy it? I'd like to make fresh baby food for her.

Fork is OK too

I never used a food processor to make the baby food.We made congee and put bits of things in it.

We also used a fork for mashing up food (with a bit of hot water).

If you already have a food processor, there is certainly no reason to go out and buy one just for the baby.

YMMV.

I use my braun every day - often twice a day. My boy is 16 months and I would strongly recommend it - especially if you are going to make him all his own meals as I do.

agreed - we use our Braun handheld EVERY day, even when we travel I bring it along, it's the BEST baby equipment investment to date cos there is abosultely no replacement for it. If you are self cooking baby food, it's very useful for making up big batches or even just whizzing up one meal for baby......you can buy it at the big electrical shops like Fortress or Broadway or places like Sogo, WingOn or Bumps to Babes.....

have fun!
