Baby cries more - advice needed

my baby is 3 weeks old and has been crying more since yesterday

when she cries, i tried to hold her until she falls asleep then i will put her back to the moses basket, but after 30 mins, she will awake and start to cry again. i can tell she is not under deep sleep..

she arch her back and seems very angry when she is crying. don't know if she is not feeling well and whether i should bring her to the doctor

any advice will be appreciated
 
sounds like she might be having a tummy-ache. is she bringing her knees up to her belly?

should i bring her to the doctor? or should i wait and see? today is quite cold and I dont want to bring her out
 
check on reflux (acidity), arching back is one of the symptoms but u must visit a doctor........reflux is quite common and curable by taking some drops.
 
Gas is a good bet, though might not be as serious as reflux. Gas can also be attributed to many things. Are you breastfeeding or bottle-feeding? That is also the age when colic starts.
 
perhaps reflux? which is really common....there are different degrees of it. my son had silent reflux so he never threw up full feeds, but arched his back, tummy was tight and fed with clenched fist. feedings were hard. i would bring him to your GP. also something else to think about - are you lactose intolerant?
 
i bottle-feed my baby..she seems calm down a bit today...i will wait and see how she goes the rest of the day
