Baby clothes washing & sanitizing fluid - what brand would you recommend?

What would you recommend for the following:

- baby clothes washing fluid
- baby clothes sanitizing fluid

Baby Clothes

For washing a non biological washing powder for sensitive skins like 'Castle' (the one with the babies face on it) and for sanitising I think 'Nappy San' is good.

We use Ultra Downy which we buy from Gateway

Vigor baby, comfort pure fabric softener, nappy san for tough stains and php baby or Bambino Mio soak from mothercare for sanitizing the rest. We tried Dreft instead of Vigor but it wasn't as good at getting things clean.

I just use the same detergent and fabric softener for my daughter's clothes as I do with our adult clothes and I've never had a problem.

are we suppose to use a fabric softner for baby's clothes?

We used a baby detergent for the first 6 months without softener. After that we just combined D's washing with ours. Napisan is excellent for santizing. Its available at ParkNShop and Wellcome.
