No wonder my husbands family thinks its weird that our children go to bed at 7:00 pm. I can see how my children's behavior worsens when they have less sleep than usual, can't imagine how it would be if it was a chronic thing.

Hi... my 14 month old son has been waking every hour over the last month since we moved into our new place. There has been no change in bedtime routine throughout but I'm at a wits end coz' I'm not getting enough sleep either.. any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.. he goes down round 7ish pm and used to sleep till at least 6am with 1 waking.. now, it's very hour...

is it possible that he's teething? Sometimes the discomfort might caused them to wake..at least that's what i experienced with my gal

i have some students in my playgroup...
less than 2 years old....bedtime = midnight or 1am!!!!!
i cannot imagine keepiny my kids up until then.

actually, what happened was....

the boy and his grandma were late to a 9:15am class. she said that he didn't wake up until 9am. i responded that i would almost kill to have my two sleep until that time, especially on a sunday! i then asked what time he went to bed. her answer, "12 or 1am"

think he may find it hard to get into waking up early for school in the very near future. Well, unless he does afternoon class.

They'll get into the morning session like most other HK kids and fall asleep in class instead then get yelled at by the class teacher. I remember asking my P1 kids what time dinner is everyday and they said 9 or 9:30.

Crazy huh! My 3 year old is in dreamland by 8.
