Atoy and atopic disease

Hi
I'm a mom of 6 months old baby.
I used to live in Hong Kong and went back to my home town in the other country to deliver my baby.
After delivery, our family stayed in my hometown and now consider to go back to Hong Kong.
But we found that our baby has atopy....
And we are concerned about pollution in Hong Kong.
If you have a baby with atopy, can you let me know if it gets worse in Hong Kong compared to when the baby stays in other cities?
I would be very grateful for your comment.
Thank you.

It depends what other cities you're talking about... I know that hayfever/asthma etc is often worse in Australia than it is in Hong Kong. While HK has pollution which can be an irritant, Australia has a lot of pollen etc which is a natural irritants and is just as bad (or even worse) for allergic reactions. I have hayfever and my husband and daughter have asthma - I think all three of us are worse back in Australia than we are here in HK... You could always try and see, that's probably the best way to know...

thanks

Thank you for sharing your experience. I live in Korea at the moment.
I hope your daughter will get better. It is quite difficult as atopy is supposed not to be perfectly cured.. thank you again!
