Art class for toddler

I'm looking for an art class/playgroup for my 18 months old but all the art classes I've found are for 2+ year olds....is 18 months too young to do an art class? Please let me know if anyone knows of any art classes for 18 month olds. Thanks!

we include arts & crafts in all of our playgroups. those start from 10m+. however, i don't think that an 18 month old has the patience, attention span or dexterity to do an "art" class (a class that is ONLY art.)

Look into Chameleon workshop in Queens Rd east, Wan Chai. They do baby and parent classes through to adult classses and my daughter has always really liked the teachers and activities there.

Why not just have fun with your baby at home. There are many resources on the web for ideas......or get together few kids n mums at home

You could try ArtPlay at Kids Gallery (http://www.kidsgallery.com) which is for children from 16 months and up.

I think Gymboree offers art classes for 18 month old up. The one near where I live ( in the mainland) anyway. Worth checking it the Hongkong ones out too.

We did not want to do arts and crafts at home with him because we don't want clean up the mess ourselves.

I always heard good comments of Kids Gallery too.

If you're near north point, recommand to try "Colourful kid". My sons join and love it. $180 per lesson.
