Are facials using electrodes still safe during pregnancy

hi there, i am 4 wks preggie and do love my weekly facials at the beauty salon.

Jus wondered whether its safe to continue having facials that use electrodes or other forms of electricity to firm or regenerate the skin are safe for the baby esp in the first 3 months.???? :yeah2
 
I haven't come accross any mention of this in my reading so far. I cannot imagine how a localised current would have any impact on your womb but I would perhaps wait until you have your OBGYN confirm this. All my pregnancy books tend to err on the side of caution with, well pretty much anything. Make sure you mention your pregnancy to the therapist too and see what she suggests.
 
I was advised against electrolsysis, but this is a much stronger current.

I would check with the therapist too.
 
None of them are safe, dun risk your baby with that. I signed up the package of basic facial when i was pregnant.
