Are Crocs shoes all that?

Ok, I admit to succumbing to peer pressure and bought my son a pair of crocs shoes, which is supposedly very comfortable, blah blah blah.

My sisters & I all tried the adult version and did not care for it. But my son seem to like it and is already on the verge of outgrowing it in weeks. . . so before I purchase another pair, I wanted to see how the other moms feel about these shoes, I know usually for "healthy" shoes the consensus seems to be that Dr. Kong & Stride Rite has the best, but how about crocs? Any opinions? Thanks.

don't know about healthy but my 18 month old son, given the choice ALWAYS chooses his crocs...

I think they are adorable, for kids at least! Could someone advise where I could go get some for my 19 month old toddler? THANKS!

fly & Carang, agree with you, they are quite ugly and that's why I was surprised how popular it is. I have to admit, my son seems to like it, but I don't know if it's just the novelty of it or the comfort factor.

Sumei, I got my son's shoes at Sogo, 5th floor I think, they have a small selection, alsos saw them at a few shops at TST Harbor City. Or go to their website to see the retail stores that carry their stuff.

my hubby just bought a pair today. he walks dogs for a living and so he needs very comfortable shoes. he said that he can't believe how comfy they are...

my 21mo loves it and always choose it than others, too. Please try out some shoes shops than big chains since they usually mark up alot higher. I got my son his pair about 20%cheaper than Log-ON at the shoes shop nearby to it.

hi,

I have seen them in a kiddies clothes shop at Stanley market, this maybe a stupid question but are they genuine croc shoes?

Oh I know them. My helper wears them!!!! There is a place in Stanley at the bottom of what I call kids alley that sells the original ones!

Thanks for the pic Rani!

The Croc shoes are indeed very colourful and they are so light and it's like walking on cushions. But there was an article on appledaily (chinese newspaper) a few weeks back which claimed that Croc does not give sufficient support to the feet and was not recommend for people suffering from flat feet. so i guess this is something you want to consider.

Hi

They are very comfortable to wear. I have a pair and wear them constantly but I won't buy one for my son because I don't think they supports children's feet well. Children's feet are very soft and supple and they can be damaged if they don't have proper shoes to support the ankles and feet. I would buy shoes for support rather than fashion for children.

I hope they are healthy for the feet. My sons pick them every single time. I guess I aprreciate its nonslip feature best.

Yes the Crocs in Stanley are the real deal as far as I can see. There you will pay $198 a pop. My children and I both wear them and they are fabulous for hiking, the beach, mucking about in the rain. They are pretty durable and you can just rinse them off under the tap!
