We were there on the opening day. It was pretty crowded on that day, and to be honest, I was expecting more from it. I wasn't super impressed.
If you're going to ocean park anyway, sure go see it. But I wouldn't go to OP JUST because I wanted to see Aqua City. I've been to much better aquariums elsewhere.
Can someone tell me, is Aqua City in the lowland bit of Ocean Park? And is it all stroller-accessible? Thinking of going with my 3, but not if I've got to negotiate the cable car with a baby and pushchair plus two other kids. All for an easy life!
honky, you don't have to negotiate the cable car... there is a train that can take you up top in about 2-3 minutes. it's fast, VERY easy to use your stroller, you don't even have to fold it! and there is rarely a line up.
So it's at the headland? Thanks, Cara. I'd forgotten about the train - last time we went was a few days after the emergency braking accident and the train was closed. We had such a nightmare getting on the cable car that I swore I wouldn't put myself through it again!
just went there today. nothing great. they have closed the Atoll reef at high land and opened aqua city. the souvenir store is probably as big as the aquarium. the water fountain is musical and has fireworks at night. I preferred the Atoll reef . It was bigger this is quite small.
