Anyone wean their baby at 11.5 months?

I had to stop breastfeeding my baby due to him biting me badly (I
normally good at baring the pain). He took the bottle with formula
well the first 2days but tday only 4oz in the morning and THAT'S IT!
No more formula nor bottle. He kicked and screamed and all.
I don't know what to do.
My mum seems to think its good so we dont have to worry about weaning
him from bottle. But I fear that he won't get enough of good stuff. He
eats well though. I also fear that (selfishly) he will wakes u more at
night as he's not the best sleeper to start with.

luckily, your LO is almost 1 year old, so you can also introduce yoghurt, cheese and that like (dairy food) to him if he doesn't like to drink too much milk.
also, you can let him try fresh cow's milk - at least that's what i've been doing since my daughter has been 1 year old (she's nearly 17 months now). she likes to drink cow's milk, a tiny bit thinned with water and no sugar added!
or, if you're not sure, change your formula - maybe your baby just doesn't like the taste of the current one any more
