Anyone used public hospitals near Happy Valley or Causeway Bay?

We're considering having a baby at a public hospital, and it seems like our catchment area includes the following hospitals:

Tung Wah Eastern
Tang Shiu Kin
Ruttonjee
Wong Chuk Hang

Anyone have any experiences or hear of any experiences regarding maternity care at any of these hospitals?

I don't know if any of them have maternity - correct me if I'm wrong - but for public hospitals I think you'd still be in the Queen Mary catchment area. The other one on Hong Kong island that has maternity is Pamela Youde, but that catchment area starts at Tin Hau I think... I could be wrong though *shrugs*

Ah ok, thanks. It appears that QMH is considered to be in the western catchment area while Pamela Youde is in the eastern catchment area (which is where Happy Valley falls under). However, Pamela Youde seems a lot further away than QMH. I guess I'll call them tomorrow and see if we can still register.

Thanks again.

Just an FYI for those who might have the same questions as I did:

I called QMH, and they confirmed that people in Happy Valley can use their maternity services. This despite the fact that the map on the Hospital Authority's website puts HV squarely in the Eastern Cluster. Go figure.
