Anyone tried Siloso Beach Resort, Sentosa Island?

This is meant to be a new resort on Sentosa Island? is it any good? convenient for babies?? I am juggling whether to stay in town i.e. Orchard road or on sentosa island for my trip in August. I will be travelling with my 9-mth old baby together with my parents. Any advice?? THANKS!
 
i have not tried the siloso beach in sentosa but sentosa is basically an island/beach resort getaway from city life. Its a bit inconvenient to travel to the city (abt 30 mins train ride). So depending on whether u want a beach getaway or city life.

Orchard road is the main shopping districts. There are many international hotels there that you can choose from. That will be more centralised and good if you intend to do shopping. More food choices too as Sentosa does not really have a lot of food outlets.
