Not sure if you still need response, but thought I'd let you know.... We haven't taken the helicopter to Macau, but we have taken a helicopter with our 6 month old (at the time) from Nice to Monaco. He loved it and found it fascinating to look out the windows, noise didn't seem to affect him. It was a 15 minute flight and I had him in my lap the whole time.
That said, a friend of mine took the same helicopter ride and her 1yr old freaked out the whole time. They ended up taking a hire car back on the return trip. I would guess your baby's response depends on his/her personality and disposition?
