anyone knows where to buy Baby Appetizing Tea?

If you mean, those Chinese herbal teas that are supposed to increase a baby's desire for milk, you should go to any of those traditional Chinese herb shops.

check out CitySuper & Three-Sixty. I saw an appetizing tea (with a cow on the packaging) in CitySuper. Besides, I guess fennel tea also serves this purpose, which there's a wide selection in Three-Sixty.

oh sorry, wrong info. Fennel tea helps colic but not appetizing.

i've tried chinese appetizing tea (I never let my baby try chinese traditional medicine/supplement but this). it works! my baby finished the whole bottle in 10 mins!

you should be able to get it easily in any of the local herbalist, but you 've to ask for it, they don't show everything on display shelves.

You can get it from Manning's the packaging is in Chinese called "Hin San" if you watch the local TV they advertise it. Get the one with the red writing. Its HK$59 a pack and if I remember correctly each pack contains 20 sachets.

Does anyone know if babies can drink barley water at 6 months? What type of barley should I buy? it's supposed to remove 'heatiness'?

heh... i also asked the same question! the old folks at my building were telling me that my bubs was too heaty, signs of it according to that were, red lips and ezcema on his cheeks, and advised me to feed him barley water before he develops a fever. after asking and scouting around, it seems that it is alright to feed barley water. even at wholesomebabyfood's site says barley is a good source of nutrition:

i asked the local herbalist in my neighborhood about it too, and they told me to buy a certain pack, which has 2 combinations of barley. one size has a bigger pearl sort of barley, and the other, is smaller. she told me that this sort of combination is better for babies as it is less "cooling". they are pre packed.

i tried it, and my bubs had no negative effect, and his rashes seem to get better. so i just give it to him once a week. hope this helps.
