Now that I'm married, we are looking to have a child in the next year or so, so are shopping for insurance plans. I talked to pacific prime brokers and they had recommended both NOW (AXA underwriter, http://www.now-health.com) and DKV since I was looking for a good maternity plan and coverage for urgent care in the US.
My wife is pretty set on having a c-section birth, so based on the broker, Now is the only one willing to cover an elective c-section with total maternity expenses capped out at 15k USD. According to the broker, DKV does not cover elective c-sections.
I have heard that DKV coverage has been ok on this forum and that they pay out as promised. I have not seen anything regarding Now though. Has anyone here had any experience with them?
Thanks for your help in advance!
