Anyone due in August 2014

Hello,

I am a first time mum, due end of August too.
I would love to join if there is a meeting organized after work.

Wednesday June 11th works for me.
 
What about at 8pm on the 11th on the top of the IFC mall, there is a big roof terrasse (it is open to the public so no resa possible but there are always some space available where we can order drinks and food.

Great, shall we have dinner around 7.30/8 pm then on June 11th? a/c sounds nice. Since I?m new to HK, has anyone an idea for a good restaurant?
 
Confirmed: Will book a table somewhere in LKF for June 11th, around 7:45pm.

I am due in August too...but not moving to HK from Australia till November. Hopefully I'll be able to meet up with the August mums & bubs once I arrive. Slightly daunting doing the move with a toddler & very young baby, but have heard that community spirit is very strong in HK, so that is comforting.
 
Will any of you be using a baby carrier for the new born? I have an Ergo and a friend has agreed to lend me her new born insert. But another friend just reminded me that it might be too hot and humid to use the baby insert at the end of August in HK.

Can any of you share your thoughts about baby carrier? I noticed Stokke has just brought out a MyCarrier Cool for hot and humid countries. Has anyone bought it yet? Is it worth getting two carriers?
