Mabye after the IVF.. if u want to try something else, let me know! My sis saw him 5 months and also got her pregnant!

I am 6 weeks now.. and my god.... getting a BFP was great.. and now the early smpytoms! stuffy nose, bloated, looking like i am 12 weeks, eating for 5!!

Congrats on your success! Hope you are coping well. I have been TTC for about a year now, had 3 failed IUI cycles, so am trying naturally for now before going for IVF next year. Can you share your Chinese doc's contact? Did you just take the Chinese meds or you did acupuncture as well?
 
Hi Ninimo -- Congrats! How are you doing? I just got a BFP, too. No symptoms yet, but I'm sure they'll come.
In retrospect, maybe people dealing with male issues should skip right to IVF if they can afford to do so. I think IUI works when there's mild infertility or women's problem that can be fixed with drugs. But if the little swimmers can't make it, then they can't make it.
I wish I hadn't wasted 4 months on IUI, but oh well. I'm happy. Thanks for all your support so far! Happy New Year!

So how many weeks are u ? no symptoms.. u will soon get it!!!
I just turned to week 12 now....... cant wait to start telling people. as i am looking FAT!!!

Hi Ninimo, How funny! I remember we started IUI the same cycle on this forum.
Finally IVF worked. In retrospect, for male problem, we probably should have jumped to IVF first and saved four months and lots of money. But everything is easier in retrospect.
I just got my BFP a few days ago. I'm barely 5 weeks. An early ultrasound showed a tiny blob (g-sac?) and that's it.My doc seems extremely concerned about MC, but I'm not sure why. I don't even have a due date.
It must be nice to cross that 12-week threshold!
Am looking for another doctor. This one was good for fertility, but seriously stressing us out now. Told me "all activity and work is bad." Really? I want a stress-free, healthy, relaxed pregnancy with normal activity. I want to talk a walk on a nice Saturday afternoon without feeling guilty. I don't want 9 months of bedrest!
Anyway, what a good New Year for the two of us. All the best.... :)
 
On the bright side, pregnancy is the only time of your life when you can be happy about getting fat! :)

Wonder if its too late to respone to you. Two of my friends was seeing Dr Clement Chan (i believe he is at Manning House/Building) both of them said he is too cautious and stress them out. So i know what are you talking about. Everytime my friend went there, he put her on those monitor for like 45 mins at her last trimester. My friend is not a first time mum, not over 35.

I really think it is a good idea that you change another doctor you're more comfortable with! Happy pregnancy had higher chance of Happy Baby!

Congratulations! I am really curious about your Chinese doctor. I see someone and I really like her but my husband and I haven't had any luck. We went through a year of IUI and we decided to take a break from it and I have been doing acupuncture instead. I would love to know the herbs you took as well.

well my chinese doc... he helps couples conceive, by balancing back their bodies......... so u have to see him a few times a month, he will tell u which dates, it follows yr cycle.... then he prescribe some chinese herbs... according to yr body/pulse...... i will pm u his details.. hopefully he can help u too! he helped me!
i also went thur 2 iui and failed....

i have been seeing one for 6month/trying naturally and think i should 'Amp' my game and try yours before resorting with iui..

Im starting my first IUI this month.
We've been trying for over 2 years but becuase Im only 28 and no reasons could be found (tubes all ok and I ovulate) my doctors back in the UK simply dismissed me and told me I shouldnt worry as I had time on my side. So now almost 2 and half years later I move to HK and have instant access to fertility treatment! I think if I had stayed in the UK the NHS would have made me wait another 4 years or something before progressing my treatement!
I should be having the injections with the IUI as the last 6 months of clomid have been awful and I dont think I could face taking anymore of those tablets. The doctor here has assured me there are less side effects from injections. Does anyone know if this is true?
 
If clomid is those white tablets, I didn't react too well too. I told my dr that I can't take it and work at the same time after 2 cycle. I had injections for 5 cycle if I'm not wrong. Don't have side effects as strong as clomid very minimum when compare. Maybe, that's just me.

hi Girls.. i tried two times IUI a while back.. last year.. but it didnt work for me.. i took clomid too.... and didnt have any side effects.. i was 31 at that time.. did many tests doc couldnt find anythign wrong wtih me .. except hubbie was low sperm count, low motility..... but we tried naturally after the two iui... and got pregnant.... i am now 25 weeks..........
