Anyone claimed doula on insurance?

As mentioned in the previous thread, I've read a lot of good things about Annerley midwives. I'm wondering if anyone has successfully (or otherwise) made a claim for this service on their insurance.

Obviously I'll need to ask the insurer, but would appreciate some indication of other people's experiences before I contact them.
 
Yes I successfully claimed for a doula on our insurance. We're with Cigna International.

We have just had our claim with AIA rejected for Annerly Midwives even though we discussed it with them back in January. Its very frustrating. However, we dn't regret going to Annerley midwives - we are nearly at the end of our antenatal classes and they have been really informative and helpful.
 
Hi,
I have to say that I did phone them several times and asked if they covered this. The insurance is also paid for by my husband's business and therefore is high premiuim cover.
