Any toy renting place in HK?

The toy library doesn't lend toys. They're there to be played with during the session only.

Not aware of anywhere that rents toys.

didn't you ask this question already? i'm sure that you did and that there were answers to it....

I probably asked, sorry for that.

I am a bit disappointed with the answers I received last time, and I thought maybe cause I asked wrong place. This one called Practical Parents, so maybe people here had better ideas? seems not.

Why there are not such kind of businesses in HK, people are not really interested in toy renting? I used this service more than a year and really loved it. wondering whether or not I can get the similar one in HK.

Rent That Toy!

not ads, cause the above one only exists in Singapore, just want to get a better idea why no such service in HK .

Thank you Carang for pointing out my funny behaviour, sorry again.

it's ok. the post just comes up in the "new posts" section, so there's really no need to post it in multiple places, as i would guess 99% of the readers/responders are the same.

perhaps the reason that there's no equivilant here is that hong kong seems to have an adverse reaction to anything previously "used". you often find perfectly good furniture left on the side of the road, for example. my parents-in-law would totally freak out if they knew that 90% of my daughter's clothes were "previously-loved".

The Central library does:gl: lend toys, I was there last week and watched people bringing them back in.

You need to go in to the play area, best thing to do is to phone and book at least 7 days before you want to go because spaces are limited. I think you need your HKID card

Thanks a lot for all advice. I can't believe the reason why Hong Kong people so resisit the "Previous -loved" items. For me, they are cheap, nice condition and environment friendly.
