Any single moms by choice/ solo moms/ choice moms?

Hi, I'm thinking about becoming a single mom using known or donor sperm. It's relatively uncommon yet in HK and I cannot find any local support groups!

I'm looking for other single parents (moms or dads) who have gone down this route to being a "choice parent" to share their experience, such as going through IVF as a single person, donor search, finding a sympathetic obn/gyn in HK, etc.

Did you ever get any responses? I'm thinking of doing this too, but so far the info I've found says it isn't legal to get a donor in hk unless you're married.
 
Hi - I plan to be a single mom and have explored various IVF options, not in HK. They are debating it but basically, you can FREEZE your eggs legally but can not FERTILIZE them in most places unless married. Can PM me for more details.

Not sure if you have found a place to do IVF yet. If not, Australia is an option. They do IVF for single women.
