Any Mum looking for a playground in Kowloon

Hi,

I've just arrived in Hong Kong from France with my 1 year old daugter. I would be happy to share experience about this new life in Hong Kong and see Louise playing with some new friends ! - weekdays are OK as my husband is working.

I'm living close to Tsim Sha Tsui and should stay in the area of Kowloon for one year. Do not hesitate to contact me.

Hi QuasiMother, is there a regular meeting for mums & babies in Kowloon area? Could you count me in pls? My boy is 6 months old, I'm a full time mum and feel totally exhausted being at home with baby only, would love to meet some new friends!
 
I live in TST and have a 5 week old baby, would also be interested in meeting with other mums and bubs in the area.
 
Hi mummys in Kowloon. I'm moving to Kowloon station (Waterfront) next week and wanted to know if there was a regular playgroup or even an informal group of moms who get together regularly. I know there is a lovely playground snd green space in Kowloon station, perhaps we can meet there ?

je suis francaise aussi je suis arrivee depuis quelques mois a hong kong. j'ai un petit garcon de 14 mois. j'aimerais bien aussi partager cette experience egalement et trouver des amis pour jouer avec mon petit garcon. on peut prendre un cafe si tu veux. j'habite aussi a kowloon pres de TST. tiens moi au courant.

I go to USRC on Gascoigne Rd. They have a playgroup that runs from 9.30-11.30 every Tues & Fri morning. It costs $70 for 1 child & (I think) $95 for 2 children. You don't need to be a member. In fact, most of us are not.

It doesn't matter what time you arrive or leave. Sometimes people stay for the full 2 hours or just half an hour - whatever works for you.

You just go & pay at reception & they will tell you where to go. It is run by a lovely lady named Nicola.

It is quite informal with an indoor air conditioned area full of toys to play with (& an area to get a cup of tea, coffee & a biscuit) & a large outdoor area with swings, jungle gym, sand pit, cars to ride, etc. The children can play where they please. The only organised part is the last 10 mins where we sing some songs with the kids.

It is also a really great place for new Mums to meet some friends! You should definitely come along - especially in these hot summer months when it is just too hot to go to outdoor playgrounds.

By the way, there is an unwritten rule that you don't bring helpers along. And they are shut during T3 & above.
