You can request for a free trial session and see whether it is suitable. I did a trial but didn't join afterwards.

I went with my daughter for the Summer term last year, and wasn't impressed with the staff-children ratio (24:1!) or the teacher. Worryingly, she left soon after and her replacements - Alison and a new teacher - were, according to my husband and friends whose children also attended, worse! I'm afraid it's a case of you get what you pay for.

i remember it being a dark, dreary place!

I went for a trial lesson. Didn't join up though. Found the place too small, too many people - caregivers+kids. It was just ok.
