Afternoon Meet Up Group

Hi Kate, Hoa and Monte
How about next Friday afternoon?
I'm working Mon-Wed next week. So Friday would be great.
Let me know if ok, and maybe we can go to the beach again! Yay! Have you girls been to Turtle Cove? It's very quiet there and good for babies, and beach is quite protected. The only annoying thing is the long flight of steps down to the beach, meaning we would have to walk back up it holding our babies.

had to cancel beach today because summer was not feeling well. next week, i am not free on friday but any other day is ok to meet up. how about thursday so janey can join us? we can even try to go to turtle cove? south bay is also a nice option and has a nice restaurant for drinks and snacks. also has a long flight of stairs but that's ok. will thursday work for you all?

I have a 7.5 month old..may I join in...? the beach sounds like fun! I wont be able to make it this thursday though -since we're moving house.. but I can come in on the next one.

Thursday is good for me. What time is good for everyone? I need to leave by 430pm to go to an obs appointment in Causeway Bay. I'm happy to go to South Bay, as I've never been and would love to check it out :) The restaurant sounds good. How far is South Bay from Stanley? Would I cab it there?

Lets say 3.30 as it's starting to get cooler (ish) but Janey can still make her appointment. Shall we say South Bay this time - warning though there are a lot of steps so i wouldn't bring a big stroller or anything.

Yes it is easy to get a cab from there Janey - it is near repulse bay more than Stanley.

Shall we meet in the restaurant - grab a quick drink then head onto the beach - this may be easier as everyone hasn't met yet.

Monte - i'll pm you my number.

ok, so we're talking Thursday as in tomorrow? 3:30 is good for me ... is the cab the best way there do you think? We normally take the 63 to Repulse Bay and Stanley, anyone know if it stops at South Bay too?
 
Really sorry guys i was meaning next thurs as in 28th. I think it got confused when i said 'next week to phoenix instead of 'week after next' accidently.

Anyway I can't do tomorrow as we have a birthday party to go to - obviously you guys get together if you can.

Whoops, I just saw that next Thursday is a holiday in HK. That'll probably make it harder for us to meet. How about we do it on Wednesday (May 27th) instead?
 
Next wednesday works for me. Yay--babies + sand = fun! Anyone want to get together tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon at Victoria park instead?
 
sorry Monte - can't do today - got a birthday party to go to

Phoenix - the thing with the push chairs is there are stairs down to the beach - so it's possible to take a stroller but just not the easiest x

Sorry, but five is a little late for us. Finn goes to bed pretty early, so by 5 we are starting to wind down, get dinner, etc. So we'll meet you next week at the beach!

This Wednesday 27th I think we need to come up with a rain plan

We could meet in one of the free playrooms - There is one in Happy valley anyone know of any others ? I think there is one in Stanley but I haven't been.

Or we could go to one of the pay playrooms - Wise kids at cyberport has a session 4.00 - 5.30

or playtown is open all afternoon (not been before so not sure how it is for non mobile babies)

or does anyone have a flat/house big enough to us to meet in - I'd do it at mine but there would only be space for about 3 of us with babies

what do you guys think

obviously if the sun comes out we'll still do the beach !!

hi everyone,
no worries, we can meet at my place, its spacious, the only thing is, its a walkup so the baby bjorn is better or you can buzz me and i can send my helper down to help with the trolley. let me know who's in and i can pm my address. let's keep our fingers crossed for some sunny weather, my girl is getting stir crazy!
