S Shenzhennifer Registered User Dec 17, 2009 #2 Chiang Mai doesn`t have any beaches - it`s in the north of Thailand near mountains. It`s really beautiful and there is lots to do and see there, but I would probably recommend Samui since it is full of resorts, many of which would be child-friendly.
