Advice on Secondary schools

Dear All,

A close friend of mine is wandering where she should send her son to school. He is currently studying in a P6 class in a local primary school in Tuen Mun and she is considering sending him to Sear Rogers IS in Tsuen Wan.

How do people rate this school?

She wants her son's English and to improve and hopefully with good results he will be able to go to university.

I suggested an International school would be better than a local school because there will be more cross curricular teaching and the general standard "should" be better.

Can anyone recommend any other reputable Secondary schools near Tuen Mun.

Apparently there are still places available for YEar 7 at Discovery College in DB - it is commutable from Tuen Mun.
I have heard that the standard of ENglish at Sears Rodgers is quite good, but it is certainly a very SE Asian/International perspective, rather than a Western/International one.
