Advice on air purifiers

Dear all,

I plan to purchase some AIR PURIFIERS, either Alens or IQ Air and would like some advice whether they are really that effective.

Plan for 1 in the sitting rm and 1 in each of the bedrooms.

My babies have been ill recently with flu and one with pneumonia. I'm worried sick about the pollution in HK and trying to put in as many prevenive measures as possible.

Would appreciate some advice.

We have the IQ Air and we purchased it b/c we were also worried about the pollution. We keep it in the baby's room. I like it because it's relatively quite on the low setting and we crank it up once a day while the baby is awake. No problems with it and we've had it for about 2 years.
