Adventist - when is the latest to request an epidural?

When is the latest to request an epidural at the Adventist? Do they have an anesthetist available around the clock?

On the other hand, if I were to go with my doctor's anesthetist and have made an unofficial booking with the anesthetist, I suppose I won't be obliged to any payment if I end up not using epidural right? (Wanna get an idea before I go check with her.)

There isn't a Dr round the clock! Dhruv was born on a Sunday and we called the anesthetist last minute. It was lunch time and we heard the mid-wife persuading him to leave his dim sum and come to the hospital. I think she even told him my husband would buy him lunch at the hospital.. He charged us a whopping $16K!
Best to ask your Dr who is preferred anesthetist is, and get his rates ASAP.

So was the $16k solely the anesthetist's fee (including the holiday surcharge I guess), or did it include the medicine and equipment on Adventist's part (which was about $3900)?

That was just his fee! I was also staying in a private room, so that may have doubled the rate.
