My indian FDH's contract is ending this December and I was looking at the immigration's website to get information on renewing her contract and stumbled upon "Advanced Contract Renewal". Have you been using this method to get your FDH's contract renewed? It appears that the FDH doesn't have to leave HK to validate her renewed contract under this method - can someone please reconfirm?

but I hear it's fairly easy. You do need to fill out the contracts and take them to the consulate to get stamped. However, the immigration portion can be done online, and you will be given an appt to pick up the visa. You can apply 2 months before the contract ends.
