Hi, I wonder if someone can offer us some advises....
My husband and I were Chinese (with French & Canadien passport) from HK (with HK permanant ID), now living in France. Do you think we can qualify for the application? given that:
- we don't live in HK, but we're from HK and both speak the language and have families there
- we have good income level but paid in France
We are planning to move back to HK to start our own company next year. Then we will be living in HK, but can at best be employed by our own company. Is the salary from one's own company a good enough?
I wonder if we should try to start the process now or wait until we move back to HK....

I think you have to be in HK for at least a yr or 18 months before you can start the process. That's probably the first hurdle you have to get over.
