3 year old first schooling - Hung Hom area

Hi, we have recently moved to HK and are thinking of living in the Hung Hom area, our son will be 3 years old in July and after years of moving around really needs to start schooling, any ideas on kindergarten etc especially close to the TST or hung Hom areas?

There is Victoria International Nursery adn Kindergarten in Ho Man tin which is close to Hung Hom. Visit their website www.victoria.edu.hk
My daughter went there last year and she loved it. They provide the best care for children. Good environment compared to those in Kowloon Tong
They have school buses too.
 
What works best for one child does not work for another. Haven't always heard good things about Victoria (check out the other threads). Therefore, it is worth checking out the kindies in Kowloon Tong and other areas near your home, too. There are loads of them, and each one is different. Nevertheless, I would consider the distance from home to school - a 3-yr-old might find it tiring to 'travel', even in a schoolbus.
 
I am also looking in Hung Hom area too. You may try Cannan, Learning Habitat, Good Health Internation Kindergarten and Deborah. They are all in Whompao.
 
Mocha, you have your child to attend their playgroup or KG? could you tell more about this school. why do you think it is good? I just think the full day school fee is very expensive.

Learning Habitat (Fisherman's Wharf, Laguna Verde)
N1 - English + Cantonese
K1-K3 - English + Cantonese or English + Mandarin

2 teachers in a class and they are all native speakers

would like to renew this threads,, any latest updates on the kindergartens in whampoa? cannan kindergarten do not have open days, how about other kindergartens. given the thread was last posted in 2008, just wanna know the updated info for kindergartens and latest reviews now.

Probably you try "anfield int'l kindergarten".

They have 2 campus now: one in kowloon tong already established for long time > 10 years; the HH campus recently opened, probably sometime in 2008.
(My LO went there (kowloon tong) for playgroup when she's 18 mos - 1.5 yeras ago)
Have a look and talk to the principal. She 's good and caring.
