2 year old boy still doesn't talk- should i worry?

I guess lots of kids started to use straw to drink water right after 1 yr old. My son started it...almost 20 months, which means his mouth muscle development was slower, and it's part of the reason why his language development was slow.

Another observation was bib using. I guess lots of kids stopped using bib....around 18 months. In my son's case, his clothes would get wet by his saliva even when he was 22, 23 months, and he was still using bib at that time. This is also related to his oral muscle development which related to language development as well.

noop. Born just 1 wk before my due date. Average size, around 7 pounds. (to me, it's a big bb because I am very thin and short).

Both he and me are very healthy during pregnancy and after birth. due to breast feeding for 11 months, he didn't get sick until starting attending school.

His mental and physical development are good. Very talkative now.

Do you all speak more than one language at home?
Statistics in researches point out that families that speak more than one languages / dialects at home tend to have "late talkers". This is by no mean a bad thing. At the age of two, they are in their language sensitive period. Not everything they understand will be expressed at this stage, but everything you tell them will be absorbed. The more they absorb at this period, the better they will be when they express in their explosion stage later.
