due to a large invitee list (30 adults and 12 babies/toddlers/kids), we've booked a function room at a private club for our son's first birthday party at the end of this month. The club will provide catering (finger foods and drink) but that's all. I haven't been to a lot of 1st BD parties so am a little lost as what to organise (for 2 hours) to keep parents and their little ones busy. I was told that arranging entertainment maybe all a bit much for a 1st BD party esp as the little ones are of a mixed age (1 year to 8 years old).....would really appreciate any suggestions as to what to do for the 2 hours!!
