Hi all, I'm due 1st week Feb and I"ll be making a trip home to Sg soon and one one my missions is to find an experienced post natal malay massage lady. In Sg, its tradition to have a post natal lady massage you for about 1 hour and then bind in a a trad'l sarong/ bind - although the correct term is actually bengkung.

This is not so much for relaxation as it is to help the mum recover faster better. YEs C-sect can do it too (but 3-4 wks after delivery)

I'm trying to persuade someone to come up but will need 2-3 other mums. Cost is aprx 3,500hkd-4000 for 7 days of massage NOT INCL transport to your place.

We will also split airfare cost or if anyone has airmiles to use- might be offset against massage cost.

I will provide more info when I'm back in HK, after Sep 13. Pls email me if you are genuinely serious/ interested, can afford the above and also due from Jan 2010 - mid Feb. 2010

She will only stay for 9 days so I cant help anyone due in late Feb/ mar or any other dates... sorry.

im due mid-march with my second. im on school holidays at the moment, but will be back at work full time at the end of august. I would love to meet up, but would need to do evenings or weekends. do any of you work too?
i had a due-date club with my last pregnancy and it was great, and 2 1/2 years later those of us still in HK meet up and the kids are all friends.

I'm due at the end of Feb with my second baby - would be great to get a group going of expecting Mums and meet for coffee/lunch etc..Had my first baby in the UK so having this one in HK is a whole new experience for me!
 
Hi! I am new to HK (2 weeks now) and am due Janurary 7th. I am still looking for a place to live and am head on into a new job here! Busy busy! I am an Aussie expat who has been overseas in China for 4 years now. This is my second baby - the first is 9 now. I will be going through the public hospital system here or heading back home to Perth.
 
Hi! I'm due end of Feb with my second. It's been a nerve wrecking pregnancy until now. Had a miscarriage earlier in the year so have been extra careful with this one. Would love to meet up with other expectant moms.
 
Hi, I have been in Hong Kong almost a year now, and am due with my first on January 20th. I am an older mom-to-be and am both excited and scared about the pregnancy and birth. I too would love to meet up with everyone!

I am due end of Feb and is Number 1 for me so all very new and interested to talk to others in the same boat! Also would love to catch up and meet. I work so would have to be weeknights or weekend days. Can't do next weekend but definitely next opportunity?
 
Can definitely aim for 6 pm if that works for others. Any suggestions on location - I was thinking central simply because I thought it would be relatively easy for everyone.

Let's say this Friday, Aug 21st at 6 pm. To keep things simple, how about Red on the IFC roof (its a bar but we can be the fun lot chugging away at juice and shirley temples)! And the view is lovely if the weather isn't too hot or rainy.
 
Hello - Congratulations everyone. I'm also expecting my first baby on the 5th Jan - very excited!. I would also like to meet up but I've left it late to join this due date club and unfortunately already have plans for Fri 21st. If anyone else can't make Friday or just fancies meeting up with some mums-to-be again - would anyone be keen to meet on Sunday afternoon? I live in Happy Valley but can travel into Central if that works better?

Are we able to reserve a table at the bar? That way the staff will be able to point us in the right direction.
