Lunch next Monday (Nov 10)??

I wanna come!! Details?? My mum, MIL and sister will get here on Monday evening for 2 weeks, so if I don't come next Monday, I probably won't be able to see you guys for another month or something!!
 
How does Indian food sound? We found a nice vegetarian Indian restaurant in Wanchai - they have a lunch buffet starting at 12 noon...

I have no idea - I haven't ventured out much with the pram yet!! I'm up for any kind of food though. I just have to "warn" you guys that the right hand side of my face probably will still be "droopy" from the Bell's Palsy - so I look weird ;) Hopefully it will get better soon, it just takes time though...
 
I'm in too for next Monday!

Ive been to that Indian before and whilst it's very tasty I'm not sure there's a lot of pram space. Will have a think of where's pram friendly - what about somewhere in IFC as they have great baby changing facilities? Anyone been to Union Bar and Grill before? Is that a potential?

Never been to Union Bar & Grill, but willing to try! I can imagine IFC is much easier to navigate with stroller/new baby than Wanchai!

Is 1:00 still okay for people, or do we think it is too busy around that time? Frankly, 2:00 is a bit late to wait to eat (for those of us still preggers)...but I defer to the ladies with babies and what works best for your schedules.

I can make reservations once we decide!

I've been to Union Bar and Grill - if I remember correctly, I think they still allow smoking inside, though I'm not sure. If so, may not be the best location for babies or pregnant ladies.
 
i am in too. for me ifc is much more convenient than wan chai. how about red? if the weather is still ok we can sit outside. union bar is usually really busy and i am not so sure about the space.

RED is a good idea.

We can't book outside seats (and those go very quickly on a nice day) - how about I make a booking for inside seats (was not a problem to book for 12 people last time at 1:00!) - and if we can grab outside seats we can try for that.

is 1:00 good for everyone? or do we prefer earlier/later?

I like RED too it is really convenient with the little ones. I will make it this time too!!! I wouldnt mind to meet a little earlier, maybe 12ish or so then it might not be so busy, but up to what everyone else thinks?
 
Forgot to say that for those of you making your first visit to Red with a stroller, if you use the lift by CitySuper/Zara it will take you all the way to the 4th floor where Red is - so you don't have to negociate the esclators.

The 4th floor, is that the roof? Or the top floor of the mall??

I think for IFC, it's a bit better to meet a bit before 1pm - whenever I meet my hubby for lunch there, we try to meet at 12:30 because there's a LOT of people at 1pm just getting out for lunch. But if we have a reservation, I guess it doesn't really matter!

Red good, flexible on time, though like Kirstin, still pregnant and am pretty hungry by 2pm!.
It really didn't seem very hard up there at 1pm last time we went, but I wasn't with stroller (and still won't be).

Nina, yes... I'm due back to work on 25th! Which is still almost 3 weeks away, I guess... but I'll have to start looking at my schedule and planning from 17th... which seems so close!! :'(
 
Nicole - Yes, it's the roof.

All the seating outside Red is actually public seating, so if it's easier for some, you can bring your own food/drinks. If we eat inside Red then we'd obviously have to buy their food.
 
Weather on Monday is supposed to be nice...

I'll make a reservation inside - just to be safe - for 12:00noon. If we get there and want to sit outside, we are more than welcome to. As tinks said - we can even bring our own lunch/snacks. Of course RED's full menu is also available.
