New moms live in Kowloon station

hi everyone

seems like i'm missing out on a lot of fun. Fridays 2pm always seems to allude me cos for some strange reason, Rylee has been deviating frm her usual naps on Fridays. She usually naps from 10-ish to 12ish, has her lunch, play and then naps again around 3ish to 4ish or 5ish. But for the past few fridays, she has been napping only for <30mins on her first nap in the late morning, thus, by 1ish, she'll be crying fatigue and needs her nap. So i always cant bring her down! Wat time usually do u all stay there until?

Hey, i'm ok to host meetups at my house too.

p/s: elsa, my gal also jus started calling mum mum, i read it's not discriminately now, but i swear that when i walked away, she does seems to be calling mum for me! Can amelia sit up on her own from a lying position oredi?

I can't pay money to my friend for she coming to teach us postnatal/moms and babies yoga, but I would like to buy some cash coupon for her. Any suggestion about which store's cash cupon is better?

Ruth, I am open to any cash coupons but I think you know your friend best. See what will be useful/convenient for her: Wing On, Parknshop, City Super, etc. I think they all work pretty much the same. If you are busy, I can help purchase them for you as well.

And very sorry to all gals, as we have more than 5 moms to join yoga class, and I checked room in clubhouse, others are too small for us, the only one big room has been booked by others from 1 to 3pm that day. Can we just switch from 2-3pm to 3-4pm? We can book earlier for next week use. It's my fault, I should check the room earlier.
 
my gal's feed time at 3pm and her nap at 4pm, but we will get her to eat a bit earlier, hopefully she won't fall asleep while doing yoga :) oh Ruth, Fisher Price called me, they are delivering our stuff tomorrow afternoon. will let you know when it's here. c u on Wed! gift voucher sounds great, will talk more on Wed.

Hugo's feed time is also between 3-4pm, so I will try to give him some milk around 2pm, just hope Hugo won't fall to sleep on class.......

Hi Mook, welcome to join us next time. Now I'm checking with my friend, coz her son has another birthday party to join next Wed., she may asked her friend to come.
And gals, there is no more fee for coming week's yoga class. About Bhakti's charge in future, if she could keep coming every week, I would discuss it with she, and let you know.
Hope it is helpful and moms and babies enjoyed it.
 
Hi gals, I can not confirm the yoga class of next week yet, didn't received the reply of Bhakti's friend, if can't run it, we will move it to the week next.
it is still hot, how about a swimming gathering next week? In our clubhouse swimming pool, there is one baby pool, only 50cm deep and also a warm pool which temp. is 37 degrees.
From 2-4pm, or after 5pm, both good for a swimming without sunshine, we have shade from other tower. Let us find a hot day to have fun with our babies!

Now Confirmed coming yoga class will be hold on 2-3pm Wed. afternoon, Sep 10. Please bring your yoga mat or mat, or I will borrow some towels for you.
Besides, it seems quite good and hot this week, how about go swimming tomorrow afternoon?

I'd love to take little Zac swimming but I'm afraid of him being afraid of the cold water (do you have a heated pool??) and also I'm afraid the sun will hurt his skin - he is very very pale and his skin is not good for tanning unfortunately! Have you taken little Hugo swimming yet and what was his reaction? He and my baby are the same age!!

I've been taken Hugo to swim for few times, he enjoyed it much! If the weather is not warm enough, baby may scared of cold water, we have 37 degrees water pool, which babies all love it. I used to take Hugo to cold water pool first, play for 10 mins then move to hot water. The time I mentioned, there is no sunshine on swimming pool because of there are two towels blocked sun at afternoon!
So, let's try it, Hugo likes to have other kids in pool.

we have a warm pool, but just outdoor. At afternoon, in a certain time, there is no sunshine. My baby loves watching sky and clouds, seems very enjoyable.
 
interested to join Kowloon playgroups

JJ is almost four months and is living in Kowloon -- we and he are interested to join meet-ups or play groups.

HOWEVER....this thread now has over 15 pages of posts, and I can't keep track -- can someone of you please summarize where things stand... is there an established schedule yet, venues?

We have seen references to starbucks on monday and friday, swimming, yoga...interested in all these things...

BTW .... this is a dad....

Yes, we have some schedules, every wed. afternoon for yoga with babies; friday afternoon just gathering, chat and share informations. for other date, like house dating, swimming, will just see weather and other conditions.
You could come to meet us this friday afternoon first, to know each other.
