Gleneagles hospital has recently opened their obstetrics facilities. Has anyone had any experience with their obstetricians or done a tour around the hospital?

interested in this as well.. had the first at Matilda but like the idea of new facilities... and not having to trek up the peak in the throws of labour!

Was just browsing their website and doesn't look like they do maternity. Best to call and confirm.

They do and it is on the website - I've just seen the packages. Thanks for sharing. The packages seem in line with the other private hospitals. Haven't heard of any GeoMums delivering there.

Am assuming your Dr delivers there? Why not see if you can arrange a tour?

I spoke with a friend who was admitted over Xmas for the flu. She was impressed with the care.

Hello, has anyone delivered in Gleneagles yet? Wondering how the midwives and nurses are, also how supportive of BF. Thanks!

I went to see their facilities and everything is brand new and very nice. It?s just very empty. The nurses and midwifes seem nice. I have a good feeling about the place but people keep telling me it?s too new and that they don?t know anybody that?s ever gone there. I guess that?s the chance you have to take with a new hospital.
