New to Hong Kong and looking for playgroup for 15mth old

Hi! I am new to HOng Kong and looking for a plagroup (possibly even in Putonghua) for my 16mth old boy and myself! We are German/American, and very keen to learn. Located in Wan Chai, but we can travel most anywhwere.

Also need to find a good paediatrician to do a THOROUGH check-up, and get my kids' immunizations up to date.

Suggestions?

Hi, I am an American and been in HK for almost 3 years now. My kids are quite a bit older than your son, so a playdate won't work, but I thought I would recommend my pediatrician.

Hi - Highly recommend City Kids on Borrett Road for playgroup. I started going there when my son was 10 months old. Also Panda Junction is fun. My Gym is great if you can get into their class (stupidly oversubscribed). Also worth looking up all the YWCA activities (Mandarin for Munchkins programme might be fun!)

I am also looking for playmates for my 17 month son, problem is I work full time....and can only mee after 4;30.
we are a Canadian/Japanese family and have lived in HK for 1 year now. Tiki let me know if you are interested in getting our boys to meet up.
 
My son is attending Donau Musikinstitut in Kowloon, it's a music playgroup accredited by Franz Schubert Konservatorium Vienna.

Theoretically would love to meet up with you, (we are German/American but I lived in Japan for AGES), but 4.30 is too late, unfortunately. Maybe something on a weekend or so?

Hi Tiki, my boy is now 14m old and we just started going to Baby Buddies in Tin Hau which is not far from you. We go once a week but they also have the options of 2x or 3x per week. We do free play, songs, snacks, storytime, arts and crafts and some physical plays. It is a lot of fun.
 
Hi, my son is 19 mths now and we joined a Kindermusik playgroup in Kid'z Paradise at Jordan. It's only 3 MTR stations apart from Wan Chai although it's in Kowloon side. It's a good one and my son loves the class a lot or you may browse some nearby your home. I think it's much more easier for your to find playmates in playgroup center in HK.
 
Hi moms,

I know there is a cozy place in Tokwawan where a devoted, energetic teacher who teaches very well with her heart. She has years of experiences in working with babies and kids in Canada, Japan, and Hong Kong. She is now teaching toddlers to children English, Mandarin, Japanese in her newly set up office in Tokwawan. I strongly recommend her because unlike many general playgroups in HK which claim they have educaiton experiences where many actually do not have I am happy that my kid has a obvious improvement in short period of time and she now enjoys going to school with this wonderful, loving teacher.

If anyone needs information, I can send the details of this teacher to you. She will usually make a greeting with any drop-in parent and make a assessment with your kids before she places you in any of her classes.
