Frozen breastmilk storage / bags

I thought i had share my little tip regarding storage of frozen breastmilk. At first, i use Lansinoh breastmilk storage bags. Not the most expensive ones, but surely not the cheapest. But about 10% of those had leakage by the side the moment i pour BM in.

Feeling very annoyed and also i wanted to store them in smaller volume to avoid wastage i resort to using ice cubes tray which is not so easy to pop out everytime.

I now finally found the Brother Max Food Cubes in Bumps to Babes to work. The frozen BM cubes popped out very easily and i just put them in a zip lock bag, labelling the volume.

Any other mummies have tips to share?

Thanks for sharing. I got my Lansinoh bags from the website you provide too. How's Boots bags? Any leaking at all?

I normally thaw it by putting it in the non-freeze compartment, then i pour into the bottle and warm it for feeding. I think to thaw frozen BM takes very long?

No leaks. In fact, we're heading to the store this weekend to pick up some more because they're so good!

Oh... I haven't actually tried thawing directly from the freezer yet. You're right - would make sense to thaw in fridge first.
